‘The Return of the Salmon’, a co-production of photographer Tim Plowden and composer Christel Veraart just won another award. This time ‘The Best Of Alaska Award’ by the Alaska International Film Awards. This independent film competition aims to recognize the best and brightest new work in international cinema and highlight Alaska’s important role in the international film community.

Each summer, millions of salmon conclude their lifelong odyssey in Alaskan rivers. ‘Return of the Salmon’ captures their quest in sound and image.
