Sometimes it’s a landscape, sometimes a person, sometimes an occasion, – but there is always the underlying emotion that urges one to respond. For Blessings, my muse was a friend announcing her upcoming marriage. She and her ‘to be’ were the source for my artistic inspiration, – and with them in mind, the song rolled off my tongue, – and the lyrics fell into place.
