Nestled in Alaska’s Denali National Park, Sheldon Mountain House and Ruth Glacier find their home within the parks’ six million acres where solitude, tranquility and wilderness await. On a recent trip to this magical place, named after master glacier pilot Don Sheldon, photographer Sean Ruddy compiled a series of time-lapses. The music for this video is composed by Christel Veraart, Inua, from her latest album Polar Suite, inspired by the Arctic peoples idea that human and animals are equal and all life has the same kind of soul or life essence.
