Bach for Elephants

Despite the positive halting of future deforestation, the effects of Thailand’s 1989 logging ban had a drastic impact and far-reaching effect on the countries’ elephant populations and lead to a dramatic reduction in employment for working elephants. Mostly blind because of the injuries they suffered during the course of their ‘employment’ and with no training on how to survive on their own, it is a blessing that there are people like Paul Barton who found a way to communicate with them through music. If only Bach would have known, I am certain he would have approved.
