Once More celebrates love, resilience, and the beautiful power of human connection.

It’s about the messy, imperfect moments—the laundry piles left on the floor, the little irritations that come with being in a relationship—but still finding your way back to each other. You argue, you make up, and you kiss goodnight.

Inspired by two friends who got remarried, Once More is a celebration of their love and their journey back to each other. To mark their wedding, I offered to cook them a celebratory meal and bake the wedding cake. Amidst the scramble of getting everything done, another friend playfully teased, “You could always write them a song, too…” And just like that, the creative spark was lit.

Between stirring the stew and mixing the cake batter, “Once More” was born. In fact, I’ll always associate the taste of stew and cake with this song, as those were the moments when it took shape.
