Anemone

Anemone, an experimental art film by Hedera Argos and the first chapter of a new visual film trilogy, premieres in Beernem, Belgium, near the medieval city of Bruges. The film features Christel Veraart’s composition Taygete from her album Pleiades, accompanying a poetic journey from darkness to light.

During the 2025 Sedona Choreography Retreat, Christel Veraart presented a triple premiere of film, music, and ballet. The event featured the debut of her lyrical short film, the premiere of her album Nostalgia, and Nayon Iovino’s choreography Santa Fe & Esmeralda, inspired by Veraart’s book of the same name and set to music from the newly released album.
